Even then i will see you again You're on your way We'll keep a light on for you And when you're gone We will pray (Did you wash up?) Feel the grain of the table (Did you lock up?) See your face in the dying light (will you be back?) lift the pack with the handle (what did you pack?) wait for me when i am gone Even then i will see you again You're on on your way we'll keep a light on for you and when you're gone Never forget me I'll never forget Never forget me I'll never forget We go on and on and on and on On and on and on and on Even then I will see you again

Saturdays 04:31
Waiting in the parking lot You will come back soon Teenagers push the shopping carts I used to do I wait for you Remember that saturday When I crashed our car I got up and walked away I have a scar I have a scar Waiting, watching you walk through our Saturdays Holding together what falls apart Saturdays I know That I Once could have run away Hard to say how much it cost All the time it took You were beautiful and I Forgot to look Forgot to look Waiting, watching you walk through our Saturdays Holding together what falls apart Saturdays Oh look, My hands Look just like my fathers hands I woke up an older man You feel older too I can't say I saw the years The time, it flew

Bells 03:52
Feel the chill in the air I carry you back up the stairs To see the glory of the lights over astoria Pictures mounted by the door I can't give you what you had before I'll sing the glorias, the lights over astoria I know you are alone, I know you can't go home The bells ring, angels rushing REFRAIN Through the town down the stair in the cold and the chilly air The bells are ringing, children singing out of key In debris, happy in the frost in the parking lots The bells are ringing, children singing christmas day Amen Chimes in my car battery divine To take me to my kind to see the glory of the lights over astoria Papa's hearing aids slowly grow Your brother's voice suddenly got low They've set a place for you, everyone's come home to you hold them all inside your chest the lonely and the blessed Bells ring, angels rush in REFRAIN Through the town down the stair in the cold and the chilly air The bells were(are) ringing, children singing out of key In debris, happy in the frost in the parking lots The bells were ringing, children singing christmas day BRIDGE We missed you so long, we missed you so long Welcome home again

about

The Bengsons' latest, HUNDRED DAYS [EP], is a whirlwind tour through their most ambitious work to date: their experimental mixed-media folk opera, Hundred Days. Recorded in Brooklyn with producer Felix McTeigue (The Honey Brothers, Madi Diaz, Lucy Wainwright and celebrated Nashville songwriter for Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood), and featuring special guests Nick Petricca (Walk The Moon) and Anais Mitchell, the EP features huge gang vocals, booming drums and the emotionally direct lyrics and vocals the husband-and-wife writing duo are known for. Abigail (vox) and Shaun Bengson (vox, guitars, pianos, keys) are joined by the full band roster, including Talia Mailman on classical harp, Raymond Russell on bass, and Conor Meehan on drums, as well as a coterie of special guests and singers.

This album was made possible by the unbelievable generosity of The Bengsons' Kickstarter backers. Huge huge thanks and praise to them!

HUNDRED DAYS is the fierce, triumphant story of a young couple who fall in love, only to have their time together cut short by a fatal illness. They decide to try and live the 12 months they have left together as though it were the 60 years they had imagined they would have. They transform their apartment into a world where they can move through their 20's, 30's, 60's, 80's, and try to create the experience of a full life together. The Bengsons have been developing this piece with some of Off-Broadway and Broadway's finest talent, through workshops at theaters in California, Ohio, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York, in preparation for a 2014 debut at Z Space in San Francisco.
